Vintage White Bridal Quilt with Pineapple and Bird Motifs, c1950

Absolutely gorgeous, rare all-white quilt with dense hand quilting and unusual motifs, in a large usable size.

MATERIALS

The quilt is all white - the front is a solid white, and the back is an off-white cream. Large central quilted medallion, surrounded by pineapples and small birds. Quilted ribbon along borders, with dense grid quilting. Lightweight polyester batting. White binding.

CONDITION

Excellent vintage condition. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried. No major damage. Please review all photos.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Likely post 1950 based on fabrics and batting used. Found in Kansas.

Measures 106" x 86".
