Vintage Pink and White Double Irish Chain Quilt, c1950

Available is a sweet pink and white quilt in a popular pattern, with a brightly colored mix of prints and patterns. A lovely addition to a girl's bedroom or spring decor.

MATERIALS

The quilt is constructed in Double Irish Chain pattern, with each small block in a different printed cotton, set in white fabric. Hand quilted in grids in white thread. Pink solid border. Backed in white cotton, with lightweight batting.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition. Note one tear along edge and scattered small stains, a few blocks with fabric loss. It has been carefully hand washed and air dried.

AGE

Exact age unknown. Estimated date c1950, based on fabrics and techniques used. Found in Missouri.
