Vintage Blue and White Embroidered Flower Basket Quilt

Vintage embroidered quilt with classic color palette and delicate embroidery.

MATERIALS

The quilt is made of white blocks with embroidered flower baskets in blue, with blue solid setting blocks and sashing. Hand quilted details in the setting blocks in white thread. Lightweight cotton batting. White backing. Knife edge binding with white fabric.

CONDITION

Fair vintage condition. Washed by previous owner. Overall tanning to whites noted. Batting shifted and thinning. Small mend in blue on front. Staining to back. Otherwise no major damage. Please review all photos.

Exact age unknown. Likely circa 1950 based on fabrics and batting used. Found in Kansas.
